Shh! It's a secret. I'm only writing it on DA because she doesn't have a DA account, although I'm not writing her name down or anything, so it's not like she'd know it was her if she somehow found this.
I am a member of the Timberlane Players at my school, and for the cast party after the school year's musical, juniors present gifts to the senior to congratulate them for what they've done in the group, as well as to show how much they mean to us and how much we will miss them. Next year, I will be a junior, and there is one particular class of 2014 friend of mine that I want to give a gift to. I already have a plan in mind of one thing that I want to give her.
Like me, she is a One Direction fan, but she lives and breathes it! The only songs she plays in the car when she drives are One Direction songs, and she uses Facebook seldomly, but when she does she shares One Direction photos to her friend (another One Direction fan).
Last night, I wrote a letter to One Direction telling them a little about the Timberlane Players, how we're like a huge family full of love, and about the gift giving. I asked them if they could do something like all write a short note to her, or sign something for her, or (if they're feeling in the mood) if maybe they could sing "What I did for love" and post it as a YouTube video with a dedication. I put it in the mailbox last night, and today the mail has been collected, so it is on its way. I hear that One Direction actually reads their fan mail as well as responds to it. I know May 2014 is so far away, but I'm sure One Direction has plenty of fan mail, and I don't want to send it last minute. It's a long shot -- for all I know they might not want to do anything, but I thought I would give it a try. I just know that if they decided to send something or do something, my friend would be just so happy -- happy is an understatement, really. She'd probably be screaming in excitement for at least an hour. That too is probably an understatement.
I'm crossing my fingers that this turns out well. Wish me good luck

April
I haven't written much in a while, but I just reread my January journal entry and thought I would say what came out of the things I mentioned.
For one, I haven't done ANY artsy stuff since my semester art class ended (I still haven't added anything I did from that class yet), unless you count drawing a bunch of eyes in your school notebooks.
I mentioned that we had FIDDLER auditions, and yes I made it :3 I'm Tzeitel, which was a big surprise o-o The production is in less than a month, and I'm opening night! :O Actually, 3 weeks from today, and... 7 hours and 38 minutes. Duhn duhn duhn!!!!
Also, the 24-hour-play festival went well. My chara
January
To start off, I know -- my title for this entry is so original. I hope it inspires.
So I know I haven't done much in centuries (not literally) but I'm hoping to do some more soon, or at least share some of the things I've done in art class recently. I'm also hoping to do a lot more OUAT fan art, because I've had a bunch of ideas where I'm like "That's a great idea!" and then I never have the time to do them, but after midterms are over next week, I can breathe a little more and start putting ideas into action... ya might see some Zentangly stuff... It's not even midterms that are stressing me out. The past two months have been kind of crappy
Thoughts
In a previous journal entry, I had mentioned that a woman named Jaime Taylor whom I know was diagnosed with a Stage 4 brain tumor. Tonight I learned that she passed away this past Sunday. I haven't seen her in years, at least three, but the loss is truly heartbreaking. She had the voice of an angel -- she always sang "Oh holy night" every Christmas --, she had the kindness and spirit of an angel, and now she is one. Rest in peace, Jaime. You are loved, and will be missed dearly.
Also, my friend's father, a former TRMS teacher, is on life support at the hospital. He is a great man, and does not deserve to go through this at all. It would mean
Art Line-Up
These are the things I have to do soon. I've REALLY been procrastinating *Bad Kaitlyn* But oh well. School is just slamming me with so much freaking work, I have no time for hobbies and such... except Once Upon a Time. It doesn't matter how much homework I have, damn it, I WILL watch my hour of OUAT on Sunday at 8 p.m. :)
1. Various art for teachers (need all done by the end of the year, so I can give them to them)
2. Niall Horan -- for friend (ME) (she's been waiting for months, I feel really bad that I haven't finished yet)
3. Captain Hook (OUAT) -- for sister (she's pestered me one or two times, but I think she's forgotten by now :/ Gah
